What to expect? Apart from masses of disruption & things all over the place?

I'm going to try and box up as much as I can over the next couple of weeks, so it's easier to shift things. Anything else I should know?

Thanks!

Are your walls solid concrete or plasterboard?

When we moved into our house (house from the 60s, full-on project), we had a complete rewire, and the walls are solid. It was absolute dust mayhem for over a week! Even after the work was done, dust and dirt seemed to settle everywhere, no matter how much we cleaned. The noise was relentless too, as they had to channel into the walls to add sockets, light switches, and everything else.

It was bearable, but honestly, pretty awful
and that was without kids in the house. I can’t even imagine trying to manage it with a child around.
If you’re walls are plasterboard then it should a breeze, less dust and less noise.
