Beware graphic photo, how can my tonsil be this bad but not really be very painful?!

It's been like this 2 days now, and getting a little bit worse each day, potentially spreading to the other now but my throat doesn't really hurt much at all only slightly?! Hence why putting off antibiotics. Tonsillitis or what?!

Ah, right. I see it now. You have naturally large tonsils, but only a very slight amount of possible infection. I wouldn't expect that to cause much issue (I have major issues with my tonsils and have had recurrent tonsillitis for the last few months with infection, temperature and repeat antibiotics)

@SallyWD think I'll see if my body can handle it before seeing a doctor, hopefully!

@Branleuse it's definitely not tonsil stones, I do get those too and it looks different

@RainbowZebraWarrior yeh they are quite naturally big, and full of holes and I also get quite a lot of issues with them! Ouch, hope you get some relief soon, maybe a tonsillectomy on the cards if it doesn't let up
