Describe your mam in 3 words

With the day that’s in it , it got me thinking of 3 words I would think of when describing a loving mother .

The 3 words I thought of are the polar opposite from the words I would use to describe my own mam .

For my mam I think of drunk , self centered & selfish . Which is actually quite sad .

I rang her this morning to wish her happy Mother’s day and to say I would call
up after lunch with her gift & cards … she had gone to the pub when I got there !! I left them
in the porch .

Jealous, angry, bitter

I’m sorry your mom let you down - again - today op. That must hurt. I feel so sad about that.

mine: kind, loving, strong.

She genuinely thinks that me and my Sister are the most magnificent and beautiful creatures that ever existed. That’s such a spine of my life and I’m immensely grateful for it. If my daughters feel any of that from me I will have succeeded as a mother.

Compassionate, supportive, funny.

Rude, intolerant, bigoted.

Brave, loving, kind

Cold. Distant. Bitter.

Horrid, thief, bitch

Oh no I’m sorry I made you cry. But yes, we are so so lucky. I try and remember it every day.

This sort of wonderful attitude makes me sad for what I (and so many others) have lacked...

It does you credit and I have no doubt that your daughters will think of you as fondly as you do of her. 🤗
