Describe your mam in 3 words

With the day that’s in it , it got me thinking of 3 words I would think of when describing a loving mother .

The 3 words I thought of are the polar opposite from the words I would use to describe my own mam .

For my mam I think of drunk , self centered & selfish . Which is actually quite sad .

I rang her this morning to wish her happy Mother’s day and to say I would call
up after lunch with her gift & cards … she had gone to the pub when I got there !! I left them
in the porch .

Bigoted, narcissistic and selfish should do it !

I have been low contact for 10 years, she is happy with the odd text, family is too much like hard work for her

Strong, caring, funny

Determined, dependable, thoughtful

Spiteful, jealous and manipulative. Hope I’m not like her.

Generous, kind and funny.
I asked dd (23) for three for me and she said organised, funny and sleepy! Probably accurate enough.

Such a mix of responses here, and some pain being aired and shared. So sorry for those with terrible mothers, and those missing theirs.

My Mum was: dynamic, selfless, fun. I miss her so so much.
