A bacon roll with 8 Scouts and 2 other Leaders. Was a gorgeous morning though so definitely not complaining!

I was brought a cappuccino in bed along with a freshly baked maple pecan pastry, Dh baked a croissant for himself. He is adorable. Married 25 years. As I don't usually eat in bed there were bits of pastry everywhere so we stripped the bed, put fresh bedding on and he has been working on lunch.

He usually bakes on a weekend anyway so we usually have fresh bread and baguettes. Bliss.

Ooo you'll have to give me the recipe for the maple and pecan pastries, if you don't mind? I love those. I make cinamon rolls from scratch, but never made the pastries!

@Midweekmayhem the maple pecan ones were actually frozen ready to bake ones from Aldi. It is only me that eats them, no one else likes pecans so he tends to bake cinnamon rolls too and biscuits for sweet treats.
