I had tea an hour ago - about to have coffee and check out the fridge for inspiration

Thinking French toast and bacon. I’m a widow and only my teen DD is here (home from uni), my son (lives away) is working so won’t be here til late this evening. It’s actually my birthday too so we will be celebrating that tomorrow.
My DD won’t appear til afternoon so I’ll be making breakfast myself (totally fine with this).

Nothing because the only lunch booking I could get was 12pm which will feel like 11am 😆

This is exactly what I’m having. Haven’t had chocolate since Christmas so they’re tasting absolutely gorgeous.

I’ve had a cup of tea and a pain au chocolate in bed and I’m now eyeing up my box of chocolates.

I was made a cup of tea and a sausage sandwich, lovely

DH brought me crumpets and coffee in bed. DS is away at Uni but has arranged flowers and chocs and we are having a call later.

I had tea and toast in bed, and a walnut whip 😁

Nothing. I fast till 12 with nothing but hot water till then.

I'm having coffee and a yum yum. Have been promised a bacon and egg sandwich as a follow up in a bit.

A piece of dry white toast (thick slice, if anyone cares). I have a gallbladder full to the brim with stones and eating or drinking anything causes swift agony, wind and funny belly. Joy. Happy mothering Sunday to me.

I made myself porridge. The same as I do the other 364 days of the year 😂

Amercian chocolate scones. I fell in love them them during a trip to the US and we have them for breakfast every now and then.

Warm, gooey and just nice.

DD made me avocado and poached eggs on toast yesterday (she’s working today) and DH has delivered me coffee and pastries this morning, in bed, which was nice. A day of gardening today, so sunny! Lovely phone call from other DD too.

Scrambled egg and smoked salmon on a protein bagel with coffee. Lovely surprise brought to me in bed by DS18

I’ve had a cuppa in bed & quite fancy toast with pineapple jam - found it at Aldi recently & remembered that I liked it as a kid.

2 beautiful cards and cuddles from my young dcs this morning, and a coffee in bed from dh, had some flowers bought Friday before the mad rush.
Not that hungry atm, had a bereavement over a year ago now, but worried about my dm, who I spent the afternoon with yesterday. I bought her flowers and chocolates, and a lovely card. I also sent her a big "I love you", message this morning.

We went for a harvester breakfast, me, my children and my mum and step dad. Was lovely.

I’m taking my new bike out for its maiden voyage later and DH will cook a roast. And clean it up.

I had a cup of tea brought to me in bed. Then a croissant with cheese and ham, some watermelon and some grapes.
