WWYD if your clothes were stolen off the washing line

So you leave your washing on the line, it’s sunny then keeps raining on your clothes so they end up being out for two days and one of your best dresses gets stolen. What do you do

Scour the neighbour looking for a women in possibly my dress?

Watch the CCTV to see who’s taken them. But I would have brought in the rain wet clothes to rewash them, so it’s unlikely to face happened to me.

Ask the local cats

I’d suspect Mr Fox. That fucker has had my gym towel, a pair of my shorts, and one of my favourite trainers.

This happened to my dm once but the person put the washing back the next day

Don't know. What can you do? Put out a flyer?

Or possibly a man?

There are so many weird posts this evening.

I don't really know what you can do as the person is not likely to own up to it or return it and I wouldn't call the police. Could it have been removed by an animal such as a fox or fallen off and blown away?

I had my knickers stolen off a washing line once.

I was really pissed off as I was a poor student at the time so could have done without the expense of replacing them.

I did report it to the police though as it was obviously some dodgy perv as it was only the knickers that were stolen.
