English is not my first (or second!) language so need some help with this hotel policy please.

You will be charged the total price of the reservation If you cancel within 14 days before arrival
This I understand fine but the second below one has me a bit 🤔

You will be charged the total price of the reservation if you cancel up to 14 days before arrival
If my booking is 30 April can I cancel from now until 15 April and won't be charged or does it mean no cancellation allowed at all?

Thank you!

The first one is correct. I think the second one is intended to say you can’t cancel within 14 days of of your stay but it’s badly worded. If they meant no cancellation at all they would say so.

Both the sentences are in the cancellation T&C so it's making me wonder. Some hotels will say 'cancellations/refunds allowed up to14 days before check in date' or like you said 'no cancellations accepted' but the way this one is worded is not great.

I can see why you're confused, it is badly worded. Email the hotel and get them to clarify.
