MacBook or Windows

I need a new laptop and am not sure what to go for? I use an iPhone/watch, but have always used Microsoft computers. I quite fancy a MacBook but am not sure of the advantages. Presumably it’s compatible with Microsoft programmes?

Appreciate any advice.

Macbooks are the most reliable, honestly. Built to last x

Macbook. They just work. I've got one that must be more than 10 years old and is still going strong.

If you have an iPhone I would get a MacBook then you can just connect everything together.

MacBooks aren’t made like they used to. Honestly had so many problems with recent ones compared to 10+ years ago. Still have a 2013 going strong. Subsequent ones died.

Still they are better than Microsoft imo.

And the ecosystem is very nice if you have other Apple products. Air drop is bliss.

They've massively upped their game since 2020 (2015-2019 were bad years). Modern MacBooks are splendid devices built to last and I'd recommend them to almost anyone over a Windows laptop the same price.
