Would you list this for free?

I have an old, cheap freestanding cooker (it was £200 I was skint) and it works but it’s not aged well, it’s rusty on the hob and I can’t get it very clean inside or on the glass door. We are moving and dont need it, but I am too embarrassed to sell it and ask for money as it’s old and terrible, plus I don’t think a charity would want it. Would you throw it or list it for free? I don’t know if anyone would want this kind of thing what do you reckon? I can also take it to the tip but if this would help someone who might not have a lot of money and they don’t mind cleaning it up I would give it away

Yes definitely, if it works then someone will probably want it. I've given all sorts of stuff away that I thought no one would want and they've always been really grateful and pleased. Definitely at least try to give it away before throwing.

List it for £10 or similar, I find that you get fewer time wasters that way.
If/when someone turns up you can not take the money
IF no joy the local scrappers will have it
