Headache weeks after mild concussion

DC had a heavy bang on the forehead just over a fortnight ago. No loss of consciousness or vomiting. Tired and nauseous so we took him to hospital. Passed tests and they did not think it was a clear concussion. Probably mild concussion.

When running and jumping he now gets headaches. Otherwise okay. We are getting this checked. Anything to request? Is this normal?

Thank you for any insights.

I had concussion years ago it was slightly worse than mild and I had headaches for 12 weeks. DH had concussion last year, was totally knocked out and only had headaches for a couple of days. I rang Headway for advice at the time, the head injury charity, they got me a nurse on the phone who specialised in head injuries and was really helpful.

Thank you @CharSiu

That’s a good idea, I will call them if any further issues.

When you bang a knee, ribs, etc there is definitely some pain with certain activities for weeks. Just scary when it is the head.

Will update with any info from the appointment.
