Where to go from here?

Hello! I’m currently a self employed dog walker and pet sitter. I am currently quite busy but I’m looking to move onto something more secure, and higher level.
I would love to become a dog trainer, or a dog groomer. I don’t want to stop working with animals, I just want to stop relying on doing 10 walks a day and I want to progress into something higher level. Honestly, I’m a little bit lost. I want something I can make a career from, if you see what I mean? Right now I feel a little stagnant.

Well, why wouldn't you employ a person to walk the dogs for you and expand your business into training?

Are there any local colleges offering training courses? Or you could look into doing one online?

Because I certainly don’t earn enough to pay someone else whilst keeping myself afloat!

I could definitely do an online course. I don’t know, I think I just feel like I’m not doing enough? I want to rush into doing the next thing but obviously I can’t!

I’m doing a forensic psychology bachelors degree with the open uni right now. I thought this was what I wanted to do, but tbh I’m not sure it is!! I would so much rather spend my days training or grooming dogs. Ah, I just don’t know what to do!

You could add house/dog sitting services. They’re in high demand in my area, you need to book them a year ahead and you can still do walks.
