I’m looking to ensure my personal possessions
And being made homeless. My contents are going into storage which will have storage insurance.
I will be being put up in a hotel by the council. I have nowhere else to live. I have no friends or family. I will need insurance for the items I have on me jewelry, laptop, mobile, etc. There are some items that cannot be covered under contents insurance so I will have them with me ie jewelry
i’ve rung the BIBA and they aren’t able to help me they can’t tell me anyone that would ensure me for this
I’ve been ringing round and can’t find anyone
Does anyone know of either a broker or any insurance company that would be able to do this because I do not have a home that I can attach my insurance too which is causing the problem that and the fact that I will be living in a hotel and they can’t ensure me because I’m living in a hotel
As I said above, I can’t cover it under the storage insurance
Any ideas greatly appreciated
