Le Creuset - is this acceptable

I’ve just bought the Le Creuset heart casserole in pink
The lettering on the lid was badly glazed, so I’m going to return it
This is the one they want to offer me in exchange
Unfortunately, I don’t go out because I’m not well, but can someone tell me if this is normal and acceptable for Le Creuset or if I should just return it and buy one from somewhere else? I was expecting the glazing would be quite thick/substantial over the lettering and it would appear it shows through. Is this normal?
You can see the glazing is a bit thin on the E on Le and the R and E or Creuset
Is this normal for this colour of la Creuset, would you accept this as an exchange?

I don’t see the issue 🤷🏻‍♀️

It looks fine to me.

That looks like completely standard le creuset lettering.

Looks perfectly OK to me.

That looks how all my lettering looks like, it’s fine?

Having done this kind of thing, the glazing is never going to hold as solidly as the flatter areas, because it’s liquid so pools away from the raised areas.
This is standard.

Yes! Just checked mine and it’s the same. It notices much less on the dark ones (mines teal). Actually mine is far patchier than yours, but I didn’t previously notice.
I’ve got some beautiful little soup dishes I inherited from my grandparents, and the print on the lid of those is also thinner than the rest of the dish. So I think it’s the character of the brand.

Thanks very much, everyone. The one in the photo is literally 95% better than the one I’m going to return so I will accept the return. Thank you for all your help.
