New to Vinted - how do the messages work?

Hi, I've posted an item on Vinted and have a message from a potential buyer. In my inbox I can see the first line of her message. "Hi! Would you sell this ..." but when I open the email I don't see any message. Just a box with what I assume is the offer price, with my suggested price with a line through it, and buttons to "Accept", "Decline" or "Offer you..."

Am I missing something or is this just how it works? It seems strange, and irritating!, to see the start of a message, but not the rest of it!

I'm using the app on my phone.

Look right…if YIU are not happy with their offer, you can reject and put a counter offer slightly below your original, or simply reject .Most of the time they try to get you to give a lower offer. Hope that helps, stay Kool✊🏿

There is no message. They have clicked make an offer and Vinted automatically adds the text at the start

Hi @Seeingadistance , I just checked mine to get a better sense. Yes I think what you've got is someone has clicked on the "make an offer" button. That then allows them to offer a price, and then vinted generates the message to you.

Make them an offer that you happy to accept! Btw, be aware that some of the buyers try to knock price down but then they will actually sell the item at an inflated price!

Thanks, all! Yes, seems to be an automated message and offer. I've clicked to accept and will see what happens next!

Am planning a big clear-out and hoping to make a bit of money with some of the better quality things I don't use or need. This is my first time using Vinted so a bit apprehensive.
