I know MN is good at this.
When I was in brownies (West Mids) we went on a camp and went swimming. Mid - late 1980s.
It was at a small square lido surrounded by large area of concrete.
It had giant bright plastic mushrooms around the pool. I remember them being huge but they probably weren't that big.
The pool was also surrounded by round huts with straw roofs. Some sold ice cream etc but some were also changing rooms.
I know it's not much to go on but any ideas? This has been bugging me for decades!
