How do I stop being angry?

I’ve got 2 things I’m so so cross about.
firstly an unfair situation at work which affects one of my clients but not in my remit to help.

secondly my teenage daughter has lied about something very serious (on top of other less serious lies)

I’m finding it very hard to forgive my daughter. She’s had a consequence but I’m finding it hard to move on and be normal with her because she has betrayed my trust so much.

the work issue has come on top of that and I’m so upset for my client and how they have been treated.

agh. How can I let go of this?!

How old are you?

I didn’t know it at the time as it’s only in the last 6 or 7 years it’s been discussed so much, but not being able to let go of anger was my first sign of peri menopause.

I wish I’d known earlier.

If that’s not applicable, anger management techniques to find ways of letting it go that work for you. I had a friend who would write all her rage down and then burn the paper in a candle. I had another who found a very strenuous workout at the gym helped.
