Thread in the wrong topic section

Why do people get so pissy when a thread is written in the "wrong" topic section? Especially if its in something generic like AIBU or Chat?

I'm not talking about advising people to move a thread to somewhere specific to get better answers to a question, I'm talking about people only commenting on a thread to give out that they don't agree with the section it's been posted in.

I don’t get it either. Sometimes it makes sense, when they’re advised to move it to legal, or if something might be triggering. But in general who knows.

I think it's more bonkers when people say, move it to relationships where you'll get better advice there. I'm sure 99% of posters read a post and reply while taking no notice of the topic and very little of the posters name.
