Fatigued after ovulation?

Hi everyone,

first time posting here so hope I’ve done it correctly. Me & my LDR partner are TTC. We DTD multiple times over the last 10 days. We were on holiday and had been very active in our exercise during the day like walking 15,000-20,000 steps every day. I was using clear blue digital advanced OPKs and was getting a flashing smiley on Monday last week. I forgot to test on the Tuesday as we were sightseeing and it went out my mind. On Wednesday I tested and got the solid smiley face (according to instructions that means ovulation is within next 24hrs) so stopped testing and we would have sex multiple times a day.

today (24th March) I am extremely fatigued. Even yesterday I was the same. I would be roughly 5-6 DPO. Is this normal? Like I can sleep for 7hrs at night and still nap 3 times during the day too! Luckily I’m off work just now so I can nap but I’ll struggle if this keeps up when I go back this week.

as you know, google is our best friend at times (and worst enemy lol) and it says at 5-6 DPO, fatigue is a result of progesterone rising.

has anyone had this before when TTC and been successful? I have PCOS and struggled with fertility for years. I got VSG in May 2023 to help me and since then, my period has been regular every month compared to how I was before surgery (no period for 6 months and then bleeding for 6 months straight). I have been monitoring ovulation with the same OPKs brand since Dec and it seems to predict correct timing for ovulation per my account on Flo.

just looking for some advice really as me and the OH really want our baby as we are getting older now (me 31, him 30).

many thanks in advance and sorry to go on and on and on lol xx
