Lost all motivation to work - WFH

I’ve been in my job for two years it’s fully remote, except for exhausting travel every couple of months. The work is relatively easy with good perks, and I plan on having a baby in the next year and maternity pay is good, so quitting isn’t an option, but I’m completely unmotivated.
I stare at my screen, struggling to get anything done until the last minute, and even basic tasks feel foreign now.

Anyone else just doing the bare minimum to get through? How are you dealing with it? Is it just me? Am I just a BUM 😅

Hahaha. I’ve felt like this often, normally it’s a sign to start looking for a promotion or a new job!

That being said, it’s a bit of a unicorn job, and you’re right it sounds like a good place to be whilst trying for a baby. Can you ask your manager for any more challenging projects?

I feel similarly a lot of the time and I’ve realised, for me, it’s when I’ve not got enough to do or when the work isn’t challenging me. I‘m bored! Could that be what’s going on for you?
