A thread for Gogglebox fans. Who are your favourites?

I only started watching this a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it! I don't think there is anyone on there that I don't like.

My favourites though are Pete and Sophie, Jenny and Lee. I like Giles and Mary but I honestly don't know why she's with him, she clearly can't stand him. Steph and Dom were hilarious. They are literally all such lovely people.

It's such a warm, cozy programme.

Mary does seem to dislike Giles , but maybe it just works for them being like that and he is just winding her up most of the time. It is an odd dynamic and at least they seem real and not trying to be liked all the time.

I'd like to ask Mr Sidiqqi senior to adopt me. He's exactly how a dad of grown ups should be.

Oh, I forgot about Roisin and her boyfriend, I do quite like them! Someone mentioned Mary and Marina the old ladies from Bristol, I really liked them. I always remember the time they were watching something a bit raunchy, and the smaller lady said “have you ever, you know, “done it” in the shower, Mary?” and Mary said “Yes, but only in Majorca” in a tone that suggested it couldn’t possibly be contemplated in a British bathroom 🤣
