A thread for Gogglebox fans. Who are your favourites?

I only started watching this a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it! I don't think there is anyone on there that I don't like.

My favourites though are Pete and Sophie, Jenny and Lee. I like Giles and Mary but I honestly don't know why she's with him, she clearly can't stand him. Steph and Dom were hilarious. They are literally all such lovely people.

It's such a warm, cozy programme.

Who are your favourites?

It was better at the beginning before any of them were well known - it was less contrived and more interesting because of it.

A lot of TV to get through though!

I like Dave & Shirley. Also quite like the couple with the adult daughter ( can’t remember their names) - the daughter can be really funny!

Dave and Shirley are probably my favourite couple.

Can't stand Ellie and izzy the way they repeat everything while staring at the ceiling. And the couple that constantly sit holding hands, do they think they'll float away or something?

Yes the incessant hand holding is extremely tedious!

Which couple holds hands?

The holding hands couple have never said or done one funny or interesting thing. I cannot understand why they’re in it.

I love them all - even the posh family who look like they live in a sauna (excellent description whoever said it!) have grown on me.

I love Pete and Sophie, and as has been said, Pete is very funny. He and Sophie are related to the Chuckle Brothers ... He's their uncle..You can see the likeness in Pete. 😃

Jenny and Lee I enjoy watching, and Giles and Mary most of the time!

The family with the rottweillers make me laugh - the dad is funny. (The Malones is it?)

And the Siddiquis of course. 2 adult sons and the dad. Love them!

Dave and Shirley are quite funny too!

Also enjoy watching the 2 Geordie girls. They are so daft though! 😆

I am bored with Ellie and Izzy, and get a bit fed up of them going on about auntie this and cousin that, and chatting shit about their private life. The're not entertaining anymore. I do like the other 2 sisters though (Amira and Amani.)

Ronnie and Annie get on my nerves holding hands all the time. They're boring. As a pp said, are they scared they will float away from each other or something? Who the fuck sits there holding hands? It's so restrictive and uncomfortable. Seems very showy. Like they're trying to prove something.

I also used to enjoy June and Leon (R.I.P.) And Marcus and Mica were fun to watch too. Shame they left ...

The new (posh-ish) family I am still undecided. Don't love them, don't hate them. They are OK so far..........

Pete & Sophie are very funny, I genuinely lol at some of their scenes. He’s very quick witted and it doesn’t seem contrived.

i like the Welsh couple Dave and Shirl esp his expressions towards her.

I like Helena and her mum who knits and the quiet stepdad I think?

always liked the siddiquis and malones.

Lee and Jenny have a funny dynamic, she’s almost a bit subservient to him and he is quite mocking towards her in a way.

Giles and Mary both wind each other up.

The northern sisters are a bit irritating now but the Glasgow couple are the worst of all. I wouldn’t miss them.

I love them all! But Dave and Shirley and the Siddiqis are probably my favourites. Dave and Shirley have such a lovely relationship. The mum, daughter and step dad with the nice blankets also make me laugh, and Giles is brilliant.

I like the Siddiquis, Pete and Sophie, Dave and Shirley.

I really disliked Leon, thought he seemed like a bit of a creep. (Probably unpopular)

Also Ronnie and Annie just seem absolutely thick as fuck eek

I love them all! Roisin and Joe are great. I also love the Siddiqui family, Simon and Jane and Tremaine, Twaine And Tristan.

I find Izzie and Ellie the most annoying but that’s definitely just a personality clash and can see how others enjoy them.

I also enjoy Tremaine, Twaine And Tristan.

I like Simon and Jane they seem down to earth. I like the Welsh couple, didn’t someone bring up his neck (maybe on here?) and how does he sit like that and now I can’t unsee it!

I like the Siddiquies, and Jenny & Lee. Also Mary & Giles.

Pete and Sophie, without a doubt for me. Especially him. Comic genius!

I love the Malones and the chorus of Rottweilers who somehow never eat the cream cakes on the table. I think the Malones have probably done more to rehabilitate the reputation of Rottweilers than all the breeders combined!

I also really like the really dim Geordie (?) girls - they have this gentle humour about them and don’t take themselves seriously at all.

I like the Scottish couple , but I don’t know their names ! Jenny and Lee are funny and I also wonder how Mary and Giles have lasted this long too! Lol
( I feel that they do like each other more than they let on though )

I was late to the party & wish I’d seen earlier series. Is it on DVD? The whole thing?

I like the Siddiquis, and don't mind the Malones. I liked Marcus and Mica from the previous series.

Can't stand Pete (ambivalent about Sophie) or Amira and Amani - one of them talks like she's just eaten something hot and is trying to keep it from touching the sides of her mouth.

Dave & Shirley, especially when Dave absolutely cracks up….. and Pete and Sophie.. Ellie and Izzi are getting funnier too

I love it. I would love to be on it but there’s no application process. It’s basically a case of being in the right place at the right time or knowing a member of the production team. I like jenny and Lee, issi and Ellie. I find Pete and Sophie weird

The glasgow couple look like siblings.
