A big pot of Assam tea with whole milk first… followed by Greek yoghurt, granola and manuka honey.

I just had a bowl of ricotta with a bit of honey, blueberries, raisins and almonds.

Basically, I have a bowl of full fat Greek yoghurt every morning, usually with mango, melon, dried fruit, blueberries and cashews/almonds, or some combination. But I was feeling fancy at Tesco yesterday so this week it’s ricotta with a bit of honey.

@IHopeYouStepOnALegPiece that was one thing we missed when we lived in Copenhagen - and suprisingly in a country full of pig farming you struggled to get ‘decent ‘ bacon and sausages !! They seemed to export the lot

Boiled eggs and soldiers but not for a while yet, I’ve never been an early eater. Most likely will have it between 11-12. I’m still in bed!

I have bake-at-home cinnamon whirls in the freezer but I'm hoping the porridge will give me some energy for the morning and get me out for a walk, not leave me slumped on the sofa covered in crumbs 😆

We’re having a brunch of breakfast sandwiches. Pork patties, bacon, fried eggs and hash browns all stuffed in a big bread roll slathered with butter. Annoyed at myself that I forgot the mushrooms!

Hah! I’m in Copenhagen and the lack of good sausages is VERY sad 😂 the bacon is also, frankly crappy, but passable but all the sausages are rubbish - I have v recently discovered a British shop in Malmö that does Irish sausages so I have plans to hop on the train 😂

I’m at my Mum’s for “Mother’s Day” weekend and she is making me chocolate porridge which is my childhood favourite. Yes, I have tried to get her to let me make her breakfast since it’s fake Mother's Day, but she won’t let me. DP is at home making screaming children pancakes because he promised them last night despite not really being any good at making them - thoughts and prayers are with him.

Went to pick up grandchild for swimming and dd had been to the local bakery.

Fried egg and bacon sandwich and 2 cups of tea. Got my sandwich on my third attempt after dd and DH both wandered in and said “ooh what you making?” 🤣

DH and I had coco pops. Sunday morning childish treat, since we are up at sparrow’s fart for a full day tackling the jungle in the back garden.

It was going to be pancakes with maple syrup but I only had enough oat milk to make a coffee with. So I’m having crunchy nut cornflakes instead because I have them dry anyway
