my sleep and anxiety has been terrible lately so I booked a “glamping weekend away” with my teen son and little dog, both have been sleeping since 9pm ish!

I also need a wee but the walk to the toilet is pitch black and the big torch is currently charging, also likely to be blown over!

least it’s not raining! It’s been 19 degrees here today! Now it’s really stormy out there!

You’re camping, wee in a pot and lob it outside! You won’t sleep if you need a wee.

Agree re the wee. Do you have an empty coffee cup or Pringles pot you can use?

I’ve been for a wee. Really wide awake ! Despite a sleeping tablet at 10:30pm!

Just wee behind the tent, the grass will absorb it.

I bet it's spring that's buggering up your sleep- much as it's welcome, the lighter mornings can play havoc with your sleep patterns.

What have we learnt from this? That camping in March is rarely relaxing 😆 I've got to camp for about a week over Easter, for work. Even though I've got a van, I fear it may be slightly grim...

Anyone silly enough to go camping gets no sympathy from me, lol! I'd literally rather stay in a Travelodge. At least I'd be warm and dry! And have my own loo!

I’m in a proper bed. It has table and chairs and a sofa bed too. And a log burner. That’s keeping me toasty (also a wood fired hot tub outside which was love Lovely earlier!)

Sounds great! I bought a very comfortable deckchair the other day and wish I could do similar in the park. Police would probably tell me to go home. Me and my deckchair.

Just pee on the grass! Nobody walks to the loo at night on a campsite

A standard kitchen funnel is way better than a she wee. That plus a 5 lire water bottle are my camping toilet of choice!

I've never though of peeing in a pringles tube. Do you take the pringles out or leave them in.

I presume you eat them first… 😂
