I don't know what to do tomorrow

I have tomorrow off. I would like to pack my knitting in my bag, get on a bus and go for the day. I am looking at three different towns with some pubs in all of them but I just can't decide between them and where to go.

I don't want to give awayy location here but the way. I feel like getting on a bus and going somewhere.

The first town I am looking at is near to me and it's a seaside town with a nice long walk by the beach with some seaside bars. Although I probably won't go for a long walk. I just want to sit in somewhere with my knitting.

The second town is about 40 minutes away by car but I would have e to take 2 buses. They have a cottage pub there that I am interested in. I could get a lift home. My hairdresser lives in this town and I think he is cute but I don't think I want to bump into him anywhere but would be cool too.

The third town is a rural scenic town with loads of mountains and some bars. Again would take two buses to get there but I love this town the most because it's so pretty.

I don't know where to go tomorrow.

Thinking about putting all three options into a hat and then just picking one.

The hat sounds like a great idea!

feathers7 · 22/03/2025 23:23

The mountains.

vipersnest1 · 23/03/2025 00:30

Do the hat, but leave the other two for a draw in four weeks’ time and then you’ll have trips planned for the next three months.
It’s got to be a winner surely?

Bjorkdidit · 23/03/2025 05:45

Go to the first place and plan to go to the other two later on, not on a Sunday, when the bus service will be better?

Rocknrollstar · 23/03/2025 06:54

Go to the seaside.

WorriedMillie · 23/03/2025 06:57

I don’t get to go to the coast often, so I’d head there. If the bus ride for the third option is scenic and you’re not as land locked as me, I’d go with that
Enjoy, it sounds idyllic ❤️

Beach 100%

I'd head for the coast as I was brought up at the seaside but now live about 40 miles from the sea. I just love to be near water of any type really, so lakes, rivers streams would all tick my boxes.

Good point. And taking the approach that you'll go to the other two places later also makes sense.

TheGriffle · 23/03/2025 10:06

I would always pick the seaside.
