Taking codeine and pregabalin into Poland

Going for a city break to Poland mid April. I take Zapain plus some BP meds, DP takes pregabalin for sciatica. What exactly do we need to take with us in the form of documentation etc and where best to store the meds ? Presuming actually with our hand luggage rather than in the hold…
We’ve not been abroad since 2017 so a bit behind on things ! Any advice would be great !

I wouldn't have thought there would be any issues but take a copy of your prescription? My husband takes opioids and a fair amount of them and didn't have an issue going to Poland, or anywhere else, he had his prescription with him just in case.

I have taken prescription medication loads of places. I’d just make sure it’s in the package with the prescription label attached. The only reason you’d need to have them in your hand luggage, I’d assume, is the risk of losing your bag and not having them when you need them. Not for security purposes.

Just make sure you have your prescription with you (or the label on the medication, at least).
