Just a little heads up that night time flying restrictions have been temporarily lifted so we're in for a disturbed night.

They've just moved an A380 over from Gatwick- 17 minute flight, more to come probably.

Well, there are some significant extenuating circumstances. I can’t get wound up by this.

For those that this would apply to : the sweet sound of self-interest drowning out common decency. People love to complain about the inconvenience of a noisy night, but how often do they stop to think about why? Especially at the moment.

The OP is not getting 'wound up' by it. She's just stating a fact, for those unaware.

what a mess - feel for the teams trying to sort it out - planes and staff in the wrong place etc imagine it’s going to take a while

agree bit of night flights / plane moving will be needed to get it back
