Are E Sims easy to use?

Heading to US tomorrow and want to set up data on my phone. Apparently ESIMs are very easy to use but I am very tech inept! In the past I have taken an old physical phone and inserted a physical SIM at the foreign airport. Data mainly being used for booking Ubers and Google maps. Will only be in the US for 5 days. What do I need to do and what is the best company to use? Thanks for enlightening me!

They are, but when I was looking for one I could only get one on a monthly contract. I ended up converting my current sim, which is on a contract, and then added a new “hard” sim PAYG from another network to my phone. I had signal issues so needed another provider.

Someone else might be able to recommend a network where you can get e-sim without a contract.

I haven’t used one for the USA but have for other countries as long as your phone is compatible it’s very easy

I ended up getting one from a company called Saily and it was so easy. Can’t believe I had never used one before. Saved us so much money too!
