Complaint to PALS

I'm filling the complaint form in for PALS
I did go to the PALS office after what happened in tears because I was so upset but I guess they need you to fill in the form for the complaint

The complaint is about how a staff member spoke to me. She was almost shouting at me and it was like she was actually really mad AT ME. I guess people might think I'm exaggerating on here but I know it was awful how she was to me. But I'm finding it hard to express on the form how it was in person.

Has anyone else made a complaint like this?

I complained about a surgeon.
PALs arranged an awkward meeting with us but he did apologise and we moved on. He’s still my consultant and did my recent surgery years later.

Looking back I slightly regret it as he said it was a mark against his name but he shouldn’t have said what he did to me and at the time I felt I had little option.

I think this is some kind of admin person

I don't think I want a meeting but she made me feel so crap I don't want to see her again. And I want it so she realises she can't be like that with people and it was wrong

This is the first time I've ever really done a complaint. Medically anyway

It just wasn't what she said
It was HOW she said it and her manner

Also wondering if this person will deny it
Although there were other staff members there but that would involve them putting their head above the parapet and I know people don't like to do that

I have, I made a complaint about a Consultant Neurologist for much the same, shouting and leaving me to walk out with blood pouring down my face and in tears. Set out what was is the complaint, how it affected you and made you feel, then what outcome you want. For me it was a different Neurologist.

Thank you

Hope that I can express it on paper
