Is it safe to holiday in tunisa?

I hated it there and wouldn’t go back if it was free. You get harassed all the time, especially if you’re blond. The food was awful, just hated every second of it

I wouldn't be able to go there after that horrific terrorist attack 10 years ago. The area is just volatile.

We went years ago with a Maltese guide, we were living in Malta at the time. Our guide was brilliant and stuck to us like glue but I didn’t really feel safe to be honest. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone because you’re always on edge and it’s not nice to feel that way for days on end.

I hated it , did not feel safe even with partner ( and i had travelled solo through s e asia) The number of people who agreed once I got back but didn't want to "ruin it" for me was overwhelming. I would have rather known to be honest and stayed at work.

I was there for 2 weeks last October and felt safe.

was with DH, my children and my parents.

people were lovely and everywhere we went we got outstanding customer service

Went many years ago as a single woman. Was bloody awful. Years ago though, may be different now (or not).

We went 10 years ago, it was awful.

I’d not go back if you paid me. We hated it, you get harassed even on an all inclusive site, terrible food and I didn’t feel safe there with blonde children. Never again!

Went a while ago as a couple. Hated it. We looked at leaving early. I felt very unsafe. Have traveled extensively to all kinds of places and it was the worst I have ever been to.

I wouldn't take my blonde pretty daughter as she will get hassled and hate it

Although to be fair the men seemed to hassle any women

I went years ago with my mum and wouldn’t go back. I never felt unsafe but we were hassled constantly everywhere we went, it was just bloody irritating.

We ended up barely leaving the hotel, hated it.

We went on a family holiday when I was maybe 8 or 9. My sister was 12/13.
Was wonderful in the resort - a ton of pools, activities for children etc.
But the one day we went to the beach outside the resort, my parents were continuously harassed on account of the two very pale, very blonde, blue eyed little girls with them.
