How many tabs do you have open?

Just going through the tabs on my iPad. I've closed 4 and have 94 still open 😱
Probably have a similar number on my phone, I've no idea.

When I have two open, I immediately feel stressed and need to close one of them

I always think I'm going to look at the tabs later so don't want to close the,, but I never do! Currently 92 on my phone and 38 on my laptop 😅

Currently 443. This is good for me. I spent some time last night deleting a few because I kept getting to the 500 limit

I keep it at under 10. Too many impacts device performance too much.

7 active on my phone and about 29 inactive. About 25 on my laptop

Only 492 on my phone… Thankfully less on my laptop but still too many!

2 on my laptop, none on my phone (don't use it much). More than 4 stresses me out, 100s is incomprehensible to me. What and why? Doesn't it slow your device down?

Are the pp with 100s the same sort of people who have thousands of unread emails and random documents all over their desktop? I'm having palpitations just thinking about it.

I have a self imposed limit of 30…. I’m at that now so need to do a bit of weeding!

I think I’ve had a recipe tab open for about a year that I still haven’t made…. Still looks too nice to close though! 😁

No idea, it turns into a very happy face once it's over 99 tabs. Can't recall ever not seeing the happy face :D

This is tab 184. I reach my limit and lose them all pretty regularly, but I read somewhere you can prevent them being shut down.

Only 1601 unread emails (over 3 accounts, 26 in my everyday account the rest over the two spam accounts).

I didn't even know there was a limit!

Those with only one or two, how do you remember what you need to check when you get home/when the kids or DH come in/when you sit down in the evening? Do you have a super good memory?

Currently I've got a tab open that I'm using for a work thing, and MN. This evening I need to order some plants for the garden and do a bit of research for my landscaping project, which I'll remember to do because it's on my to-do list.

I'll open the tabs as I need them, and close them afterwards. What other way is there to use the internet? Do people just open new tabs and never close them? This is madness.

ETA: no, I have a terrible memory, that's why I live and die by my to-do list.

Usually 2 or 3 on laptop or around 5 on my phone. I get rid of anything i am not checking a lot.

4 - my email, Quora, Facebook and Mumsnet. Might open another one to look for a recipe in a minute - but rarely go over 6.

No emails unopened. All tabs closed daily.

@TheOtherAgentJohnson mainly stuff I need to deal with but not urgently. DC2 needs new trainers so I was browsing last night, found some she might like so I've two tabs for that, the brand and where I would get them from, so next time she's here we can look at them together. If I closed out, I'd forget and then probably leave it too late to order!
A couple of job related ideas for DC1 and work experience ideas for DC2 that I'll look at in the holidays with her. One a book I want to buy but I have to do it over the computer not the iPad. I need new work shoes but can't decide which so have three tabs open. A couple of recipes etc etc.

I bookmark links if I can't finish the task straight away, so I can close the web browser completely every evening. I save recipes to Copy Me That and then forget all about them and use my old Delia Smith books anyway.

Five on one browser and about 15 on another.

No unread emails though, I deal with them daily.
