We are going to stay with friends over the May bank holiday weekend and I’d like to take gifts for their children but I don’t have a clue what to get. £10-£15 each, 12yo girl, 13 yo boy, 14yo girl. Any suggestions please? I don’t know anything about likes/dislikes.

At that age, I’d say hard cash and a chocolate bar!

Ooh that's a really hard age, especially if you're not sure what they're into. What about a card game they can play together and a bunch of snacks (Pringles, pretzels, chocolate and Haribo then you cover all bases of whether they like chocolate not or prefer savoury snacks)?

My newly turned 13 year old loved this website for choosing what he wanted for Christmas. He picked random stuff that I would never have got him. A good range of prices too.

Also agree with PP, cash or maybe a voucher for Starbucks or similar if you know there's one nearby.
