EV charger app - which one?

I’m about to buy an EV for the first time, I will mostly be charging at home and we have a home charger already installed but I know I will sometimes need to charge when I’m out and about. Which is the best app for showing the location of chargers? I’ve heard of Zapmap but when I looked on the App Store there are loads of different ones, do I need all of them? Thanks for any advice 😊

Zapmap is the best for showing you locations
I use electroverse compatible chargers a lot so I have the electroverse app. That's all I use really!

Thanks @Threeandahalfthis is a new world for me! I’m excited for the new car but feeling a bit daunted by switching from petrol to electric

You just have to plan ahead long journeys. We have young kids so it's handy to stop for half an hour- an hour here and there. When we are on a long journey our mantra is to charge at any opportunity, even if it's just ten mins.

Zapmap is great for showing where charging points are. Quite a lot of the chargers, esp on motorways, are set up for contactless payment. Gridserve & Pogo seem to cover the majority in my experience. You soon get used to planning ahead & like a previous poster said it’s worth topping up when you get chance on long journeys to avoid stress if there’s a charger full or out of order.

Thanks, sounds like Zapmap is worth downloading, Chargemap looks good on the App Store as well. I think I’ll start with these!
