Fell on my arse

Quite literally. On Thursday morning I slipped on the stairs and bumped down several steps. I now have a humzinger of a bruise across one bum cheek, and even in my arse crack (tmi). It feels swollen and numb and I can't lie in my back as I get a searing pain where the swelling is. I can lay on my sides in a recovery type position, but I can't roll onto my back to the other side. Can only roll over by turning onto my front. It's been approx 60hrs since it happened. Should I be seeking advice or should I still wait a few more days in the hope the swelling reduces/pain subsides. The bruise is honestly impressive and horrifying in equal measures. Walking is ok, I can't walk fast though, sitting is ok too as long as I don't move too much, getting in and out of the car is a bit challenging, however it's sleeping I'm finding the most difficult.

I'd wait until Monday and if it's still bad ask your gp to refer for xray unless your having any issues with peeing which in that case I'd go to a&e

I think you need to get it xrayed.
Some years ago I came off my bike and had to go to A and E. It turned out I had cracked the coccyx bone at the base of the spine.
You may possibly have done similar type of damage.

@Qwertyme a bag of frozen peas may nestle comfortably to give relief? 💐

I also think you need an X-Ray. I did something similar recently (not stairs though). Turned out to be a fractured spine.
