Why do they have to get up at 4am and leave at 4.20am and surely this isn’t real.

There's absolutely no way they go from asleep to showered dressed & full make up in the space of 20 mins. If they get woken at 4am I'd bet they get picked up about 0630

I suspect that the chauffeurs have a long wait each time...

But why do they even pretend? The cars are coming at 4:20am to take them to a location in the same city - it’s bullshit!

It's not even dark when you see them leave the house mostly. I call BS - and pointless BS at that. Why in Earth should they pretend to have to get up at those ungodly hours? What sort of business acumen is it meant to prove? 🤷‍♀️🤯

I think it’s more of a ‘the cars will be at the front of the house at 4:20am, we then need to set up cameras and kit, probably give the crew some breakfast, make it look like you’re all in a bit of a panic and then leave around 7am once we’ve got all the footage we need.’

Or when they went to Turkey was even less believable. Up, showered, perfect make up, dressed and packed in 20 mins. Nah. That’s a good hour. Especially with all those housemates sharing a bathrooms

For the turkey one fair enough as there’s a flight to catch. But why for the rest? As if Karen and Tim are ready to start at 5am!

Many things are not as they seem on television. I’m sure that the producers decide who the winner is before they start filming. Is it still Frances (BBC extra) who tells them to go into the boardroom?

Just for the “excitement” of the viewer factor, (but it’s a very tired old formula) it doesn’t happen like that for the contestant though on any show.

Indeed, since when has “reality TV” shown anything real?

I did hear that on Jeremy Kyle, the producers would lie to the guests about the recording time, and burst into their hotel room hours before they said, saying “you’re on NOW”, so they would go on looking dishevelled and messy.

Yeah, isn’t that why they are filmed leaving in long coats and scarves, even though the apprentice is filmed over the summer. So you can’t see what clothes they are wearing underneath.

There are loads on the Apprentice subreddit.

But they wear the same clothes in the boardroom anyway each week
