What's the difference? I feel totally flat most of the time.

For me I would say being fed up is when I've not had a good day, ie things have gone wrong but it is a fleeting feeling and has passed by the next day. The same with feeling sad, usually a reason for feeling that way. I had depression 10 years ago after a serious illness and I wouldn't wish how I felt then on anyone. I struggled to find interest in anything, found it hard to watch TV, read or do anything. I didn't want to be on my own but when I was with other people struggled to be around them. I couldn't see myself ever feeling happy again. Took me 6 months before I started to feel better.

I've had clinical depression twice, so I know what that feels like and looks like.
