Daydream houses

Saturday morning lie-in with a cat purring on my chest - what else to do but browse houses and daydream 😁

How about this gem of lushness?

I would move straight in. Wouldn't change a thing. Not even the few things that are not quite to my taste, as it all works together so gorgeously.

And here am I in my bland modern box, with a kitchen that's falling down. Ahh well, at least I have a cat.

Dark, gloomy and dreadful photos.

Gorgeous. I am particularly taken with the fireplace in picture 28.
I'm not sure about the black ceilings but it would be too much trouble to paint over them so I wouldn't bother. I particularly like the kitchen and the bathroom with the green tiles.
Also. Looks like the kind of house a cat would choose.

The decor isn't to my taste but that is the most incredible house and at a good price!

loadalaundry · 15/03/2025 09:46

it was very cheap when they bought it, was it a complete refurb? the energy bills are probably £££

Grim Public toilet tiles in the kitchen and awful decor.

Not for me. It's dark and foreboding.

Clearly a Marmite house 😄

Also. Looks like the kind of house a cat would choose.

Very important criterion. Did you notice the little dog?

this is so outdated! As if councils have had the budget for tiles in decades 😆

Lovely lovely lovely. I'd pay the person who designed this to do my house. Thanks for posting xx

Whats going on in pic 9? Tea party for lampshades? 🥰

I am into cottages and very light farmhouse style decor. We moved from our 1970s extended house to a 200+ yr old cottage a few years ago. The reality is, that it’s wonderful but bloody expensive with the constant repairs!

The one the cat had banished to the conservatory? 😂

That’s….interesting decor 😂
