Hi everyone was just wondering if anyone had been through a break up with their children’s father and how you handled telling them? I have one under 10 and one under 15, know I’m going to speak to them separately due to the ages but unsure of what I’m ment to say with my oldest should I be as honest as I can be as remember being that age and hated finding out I’d been lied to about so many things just don’t know what I’m ment to say or do

Think you both need to be there.. sit them down and just be honest.
Reasure them it's nothing they have done.. but will still be loved by both of you and spend time with both of you .
My 10 year old Grandson when first heard ( he's ASD) shouted yeahhhh! Two lots of pocket money .
But honestly he was fine.. looked forward to the weekends with his Dad...both parents are much happier.. leading to one happy son.
Good luck.
