Do you do your own LV lash lift yourself? Can you talk me through it?

I've been getting an LV lash lift for years, every 3 months or so, but it's so hard to fit in an appointment with working (weekends are out) so I need to find a way to do it myself.

Do you do it? Is it easy enough? What kit do you need? Do you do one eye at a time?

Any advice or experience, I'd be very grateful to hear it.

I've been doing mine for the last few months - I got fed up of always having to book an appointment and it never being very convenient so I bought a kit off amazon and gave it a try (I use Miya as it got good reviews). I don't think I'll ever go back! It's really easy once you get the hang of it, although it does take me quite a long time because I need to do one eye at a time (realised very quickly there was no way I could do two at once).

The only part i don't find easy is tint - I don't seem to get very good results and sometimes it really irritates my eyes so I've stopped doing that part. I always use mascara anyway so I didn't really need it.
I also use the same kit to do laminated brows (and I do my own tint for those).

I do my own every couple of months. Bought a kit from Amazon for about £20. The kit should come with everything you need to do the lift, I had to buy the tint separately. The hardest part, I find, is actually getting the lift pads to stay stuck down on my eyelid. I also do one eye at a time.

I can’t get my lashes to stick to the lash pad so I gave up. Don’t know if I just have short straight lashes that won’t play ball or if I’m not very good at it. I have the luxe kit

I assumed that both eyes at once would be borderline impossible.

I tint my lashes myself, and always have. Maybe I will need to do the tint a few days before or after the lift, rather than trying to do it at the same time as it sounds tricky enough.

So you're all getting the kits from amazon?

Good to know you're a DIY-convert just a few months in from trying, Mass.
