Which foods are an acquired taste for you?

On my list is definitely marzipan.
Never used to like it as a child but then I had some from the continent when travelling in my early 20s and wow, it was like a totally different product altogether!

Artichoke hearts, capers, marmalade.

Olives
Anchovies
Nduja

Olives took many years. Also avocado's as the one I tasted in 1993 was like soap - I think salt and sourdough would've helped!

Very dark chocolate. I've worked my way up to 90% over a few years. Can't go back to sweet chocolate now.

We always argue whether lebkuchen are biscuits or cake?!
