Corporate volunteering?

I am looking for hands on corporate volunteering opportunities in London (City). It would be nice to hear of any volunteer activities that you enjoyed and found meaningful.

It is part of a week of service at my firm of professionals. I was thinking of The King's Trust but anything really.

Young Enterprise have lots of opportunities in schools and colleges for ad hoc volunteering

@Lifeintheslowlyfastlane CoachBright looks great. I had a look at the website and brochure. It seems to be mainly peer-to-peer coaching by undergraduate volunteers and senior pupils but there is a separate corporate volunteering section which trains volunteers to coach primary and secondary school pupils in maths, English, or science.

Felix project have lots of corporate volunteering opportunities.

One of my favourite grass roots charities in London was the Pimlico toy library, I used to send students to volunteer there (admittedly like 10 years ago) but might be worth contacting if they need anything done. Also Age UK were really good for one off volunteering opportunities like we used to go have afternoon tea.
