Being a wimp

I sometimes escape to a lovely Thai restaurant in the evening for a meal and Jasmine tea.

I was looking through my bank statements to check for something else and noticed by accident that a meal had gone through twice. Took me a couple of days to get the courage to go in and request the money back politely after a deep breath, some people would do this without thinking.

Question is would you go in with no embarrassment? Or am I an utter wimp? They refunded no problem.

Too right I'd go in without embarrassment. It's their cock up not yours. Why do you feel embarrassed?

I think I felt a bit shy about asking, although I know the staff and they're lovely people

I would go in with zero embarassment.
I am old though. Not scared of much these days

I would not have a problem since it was clearly their mistake and they are nice people.
