This is mostly about Blackstock Road, Gleadless, S14 1FY.
I will soon again be helping AC, partner and housemates by taking rubbish from their old place to the 'tip'.
I've so often queued for 45 minutes plus on the road outside, down the hill and round the bend with a bus and other vehicles needing to edge past.
I checked the website today for opening times, and see that queuing on the road is no longer allowed. I am really happy about that, but...am I likely to find myself in a similar queue circling the local narrowish roads, or has the initiative worked?
Thank you for any local knowledge!
