Military flights today

Does Anyone know why there is so much military flight activity over the east of the country today? Nothing on flight radar

Probably something to do with the collision of two ships off the coast near Hull that's caused a massive fireball/ fuel spill

I don't, but if you check https://www.adsbexchange.com/ you might be able to see what a few more of them are.

There's often training over the east and it might be related to the fuel spill. I've noticed a lot of military helicopters the last week or two.
