18th birthday gift value for DN?

First child in the extended family to turn 18.
Normal gifts at birthdays and Christmas would be £20, usually sent as bank transfer because they live a distance from us, we rarely see them in person.
How much would you send as an 18th gift?
And do you then stop sending gifts after 18?

We stopped at 18.
As for value, whatever you want. If you normally send £20 then maybe £50 or £100?
May depend how many neices and nephews you have though 3 versus 15!

Maybe money and a bottle of wine or something. I wouldn’t necessarily stop buying for them though but depends how many you have and finances.

I have 8 nieces and nephews, plus then my own 2 kids who would be likely to receive from those families in return.
I would not say we are close particularly, because of distance none of the cousins really know each other. But no issues either. Kids always say thank you for gifts and they all get along when we do see them.

I stopped buying for nieces/nephews once I thought they were "proper adults". For example my niece has 2 small children and turned 24 last year, that's when I stopped. I also have a nephew the same age (no children) and stopped for him at the same time.
In hindsight I probably would have stopped after 21 which I'll do with the rest.
Usually birthday would be around £25, I'd go for £30-£35 for a special one, like 18 or 21
