Hi everyone just wondered if anyone has their phone arranged in a certain way? Do you arrange your apps a certain way etc.. I've posted similar threads . I want to re set my phone up and do it how some people do it these days with the different layouts and the looks and aesthetics and designs etc.. I just wondered if anyone out there does this and if you have any suggestions? Many thanks x

No, mine are just wherever they are put when downloaded

All I've done is group things together into category boxes. So I have a 'shopping' group that has all my shopping apps in eg M&S, Waitrose etc. I've also got travel, entertainment and health.

Is this what you mean?

I have folders with all my apps in! 21 in total with all the corresponding apps. This is basically how I organise my life... in folders 😂

Yes, I've got mine set up exactly how I like it. I've used the Nova Launcher on Android for years to allow me to fine-tune how the home pages look. Big clock and weather widgets on the front page along with the most commonly used apps then on the second page I've got some widgets for audiobook and podcast players plus groups of apps for audio, video, driving, stores, games, social media etc.

Mine apps are in alphabetical order, with some in folders. So I have a social media folder, a baby folder for relevent stuff to DC, a TV/film folder, etc.

In folders organised by colour because I remember what the app icon looks like more than what the name of it is.

I recently got a new phone and the man in the shop said mine was the most organised he'd ever seen.

I have everything in 12 folders. 8 apps are replicated on the home screen. That's it.

I have, for instance, one called Work which has Outlook, Teams and my work app in. Home includes the Nest app, my banking app etc. One is called Junk which is the stuff I never wanted but my phone won't uninstall.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions . Some good ideas here! X

Just another tip that I found on MSE - you can create hidden folders that are only seen with passcode/Face ID. I use this for my financial apps. Info here:

The ones I use most are on the front page, the rest are in folders - shopping, travel, money, sky, health, etc.

Blingismything · 10/03/2025 11:08

My work related apps are on the final page on their own, I don't look at them unless I need/choose to.

MaltipooMama · 10/03/2025 12:09

@Tree25 I was hoping you wouldn't ask me that as I knew I would have to rise to the challenge and feel the need to list them 😂 so here goes, these are my folders:

Social Media
Emails
Finance
Supermarkets
Shopping
TV/Phone
Parking
Food and drink
Weather
Travel
Photos
Business
Houses
Media
Misc
Cards
Sport
Children
Puppy
Games
Nursery/Education Resources

Phew! x
