This is a thing for me, Sunday evening i kick into mum mode.
Washing must be done, DD gets a bath, clothes set out for me and her for next day, clean all the shoes, make lunches. DH can look after himself!

What's your Sunday night mum mode?!

These days it's make sure dinner washing up is done, wash and iron DS uniform, pour a drink, lol.

My son gets his deep clean which involves a good hair wash, nail clipping, moisturise and he does a teeth disclosing tablet.

Homework packed in his bag, clothes laid out etc.

No small kids anymore but my Sunday evening routine goes something like:-

  • load up dishwasher after dinner and wipe down kitchen counters
  • iron clothes for work on Monday morning
  • wash out my assorted lunch boxes and leave them to drain overnight
  • prepare any food I'm taking with me (I've made a smoothie and it's gone into the fridge)
  • leave sachets of cat food in a convenient location for easy access when I'm half-asleep in the morning
  • charge my work mobile and leave it in my bag with my diary

That's actually my routine most evenings when I've work the next day.

What does Sunday evening Dad mode look like. I hope he pulls his weight. Why do you look after the family and he just looks after himself?
