I know this might sound silly and stupid but when do you typically find out about your wage increase each year?
Do you find out before 1st April when the rate increases?
My employer doesn't seem interested in telling us. If we ask about it, the manager will just say "I will be telling you soon", no matter how many times we ask. Last year we got told in May, the year before we got told the last week of April. The year before that was the last week of April too.
I don't know if this is being petty or not so if it's coming across that way, I do apologise, its not my intentions. But seeing as though the rate increases 1st April, I would like to know for then. I want to know how much I'm working for per hour. Shouldn't have to find out on my wage slip the following month surely 🤷♀️
