Vertigo/Rollercoaster

Posting here purely for traffic.

I don't do rollercoasters or any kind of fast rides but allowed myself to be peer pressured by my kids on Thursday and ended up going on two of them twice each. I already suffer with motion sickness (boats and cars) so should have known better. I felt awful on the way home and just made it back before being sick, I then felt awful for the rest of the evening and was in bed by 9pm thinking I'd sleep it off. Friday I wasn't sick but had a headache and felt spaced out.

Today I still feel the same, had horrendous motion sickness (not actual vomiting but nausea and headache on the plane home) yesterday and today I feel spaced out, dizzy and have nausea on and off. If I move too quickly I have to stop because everything spins.

Has anyone had this? Could it be the rollercoaster or just a combination of them and the travel sickness. I don't want to call the GP tomorrow and look like a nob but equally I feel awful!

If I just lay down with my eyes shut then I do feel a bit better but I have stuff to do.

I have vertigo caused by movement and was recommended to Google the epley manoeuvre, which has always worked well. I think it's only a cure for BPPV though so you may need to research to see if this is what you think you have. Dizziness and sickness is just the worst.

I agree with zero it could possibly be sorted using the epley maneuver and there are lots of videos on youtube about it including showing you what is going on and why the weird epley works. I don't think you have anything to lose looking it up and potentially trying it.

Thank you, I'm off to google now. It's definitely worth a try because this is awful.
