I've been told the only sure fire way is going to a dentist and doing the retainer/gel thing, costs about £300 upfront but much cheaper on going for the gel. The only thing that's stopped me is I have an awful gag reflex and I wouldn't be able to sleep with the retainer, I've tried in the past due to teeth grinding, to no avail.

Yeah to make a difference you need custom trays and whitening gel with peroxide from a dentist. Over the counter stuff only shifts very superficial stains.

Crest 3D whitening strips. Not available in the UK (peroxide level too high) but can be shipped in. Usually around £40-£60 with shipping.

I had mine done in India recently for £100. Loads of British holiday makers out there having world class dentist treatment for a fraction of UK prices.

She told me never to use whitening products as they strip the plaque from your teeth. She recommended this toothpaste

It is illegal to sell these strips in the U.K., so the only way you can get them is from criminal sellers who are knowingly breaking the law.

What guarantee do you have that the products are genuine and are what they say they are?

Also many sell strips that have such high peroxide content they are not even legal for dentists to buy or use.

Colgate strips are great for whitening, not too much bleach.

Colgate strips are great for whitening, not too much bleach.

These are illegal in UK, EU etc as they contain very much more than 0.1% hydrogen peroxide.

Anything below this will not whiten , anything above this can only, legally and safely , be provided under supervision of a dentist.
